What impresessed me in my latest visit with Tadiran and also other companies is the very advanced level of technology especially in everything that spells communication. This is a result of many years of R&D for the Denfense including the US Defense Department.

My positive immpression about TTELF was recently during my visit with the company. I meet a young, driven and dynamic team (on the financial side) with US mentality and aproach to business. My meeting was related to a new financing product to enable TTELF to sell to Emerging Markets, TTELF approach was very profesional in this respect. My own research indicates that their telephony products (Wireless Local Loopand Multigain Local Loop) are competing pricewise with cooper wire lines and are actualy of higher bandwith - e.g more info over same line.

One drawback is a local mature market wich will negatively impact revenues, but the exports will more then compensate IMHO.

The financial people at TTELF were jocking about the market reaction to TTELF precausonary anouncement. From information on new projects in telecom and personal experience, (see also the World Bank etc.) it seems that the market for wireless telephones has exploding growth rate, cellular, GMS or Wireless and Multigain Local Loop (WLL and MGW).

Due to previous defense work TTELF has the expertise and in debt understanding of various technologies (spread spectrum frequency hoping - FH-CDMA) which result in more lines/information passing over the same bandwith, resulting in a more cost effective product. Lucent Technologies is one competitor for example with a much higher work/unit cost than TTELF. Aside TTELF has Raychem as an equal partner in marketing.

Those are my 2 cents
