skelly,
another point I should have mentioned is the size of proposed projects I think Monopros felt they had to start when they did because they have a larger program with the bulk samples etc.'It takes alot longer to drill off a bulk sample then what WSP plans because wsp can get at the dyke from surface.
This is sort of an aside on diamonds in the NWT. Everyone assumes Diamet will be the first to mine and produce. No doubt they are the front runner for that honour at the moment but there is still alot of speculation as to who will be second and some speculation that a dark horse with the right combination of luck etc might just be able to beat Diamet and/or Diavic (Aber). Now Im not sure how relevant this is or how head offices think but I'll run the speculation by you. Diamet has their aproval and program to production already laid out. Diavic is the next to try but their pipes being under the lake are going to take alot of work to get aproval etc. So if someone came along with a single pipe on land, in the right area and stream lined the process, could they still beat the one or two front runners? Its all specualtion and rumour but its a rumour that keeps croping up.
Something else to think about.....
regards Walt
