Was watching the news while getting ready for work this am and saw a story that in LA county, they have 9-10 positive covid tests a minute and thought this cartoon was particularly appropriate

I guess that is possible, but I think this is simple enough that most people will see it for what it is, getting some money to people who are desperate; and certainly those that need the money the most will see it that way.

Tens of millions of people in need will be watching this very closely and will hold the Republicans responsible if the Senate doesn't bring it up for a vote.

The House passing the stimulus bill has really put the Republicans back on their heels and in a defensive position, thank god.

And for those Republican who voted against it, they will have to defend that vote in 2022.

I just saw Rubio said he would vote for it if it comes to the floor.

And lets see if any of the dem senators help Bernie out?

I should also say that he might be on the correct side of this one. But let us see how this plays out because I can also see the right trying to play this as Sanders and the Democrats being soft on defense.
