Well, if anything good comes out of all of this it will be the spotlight , FINALLY, being put on the real agenda of the Republican party-steal as much as you can for the rich and powerful. It has been driving me nuts for 50 years. I kept asking myself:" how come so few see this"? The do it in plain sight. The Republican party is a big tent party for the criminals, zealots, ignorant, insane, racists, misogyny and a patriarchs. And the modern Republicans (50 years ago) cut their teeth on hard core racism.
