AMAT's pattern >> This thing did a Beautiful bowl or double top either way last fall. Would have shorted the hell out of it if I had not been so screwed up with a bunch of real estate I owned. It then went into a >, and fell out, and has made 2 attempts to rally since then. the first of which failed, my guess is 2nd will fail this week. Look at csco chart from july 97 to present. Look at msft 2 yr chrt late 96 to present. Damn similar. If you can look at amr 3 yr chart from early 95 to late 96, same pattern. See what happended after that. May be an indicator of where the rest of the market is going in next 12 mo. I wouldn't think too much of amr. It could be in for a big correction.
