There hasn't been a capitalist in the gop in a generation. That right. Or an actual ethical conservative that loved his/her long-term country over short-term self-interest and privilege. Successful capitalism is not "what's mine is mine forever." It was thought to be dynamic wealth, with plenty of competition keeping prices low and value to consumers and all citizens high. As far as "capitalism" is concerned "free markets" do not self regulate. Liberals understand this reality while the modern cult conservatives do not. Well, no rules except from their faux neo-Christian (branding) perspective.
