Hey Joe,
I am going to have to buy yopu a book to understand telecomms abbreviations.

LAN // LOCAL AREA NETWORK
WAN // WIDE AREA NETWORK

When we set up a switch and hook in customers, they in effect become customers of a circuit, and depending the type of service we offer, (local calls virsus international calls) describes the type of network we build.
In Europe, we have switches collecting customers in Denmark and Spain and expamding. The offices in those local cities are offering world wide connectivity to all destinations. Thats the long distance business....in the states its refered to as either 1+ or 011+ services.

As far as the Cessna virsus Boeing Jumbo comparison is concerned, I stand by my assessment of the current plans and the ability of DCI to achieve its goals.

I am preparing a posting for tomorrow which will be of major interest to all DCI Shareholders.....
Keep WATCHING THOSE FINGERS TYPING..

Hi Joe,
Here's a URL for an encyclopedia of telecom and computer terms. An excellent source of reference, and it also links to related terms (for instance, LAN and WAN).

BTW, I've found a fool-proof method for avoiding jet lag: I only travel north and south.
