Yeah, that faith stuff is a problem for me. If that god were to be all-knowing - then they are a complete asshole. And the story of Job ... or others - this is a religion of zealots and True Believers. What the evangelicals believe is that it is effortless and because they are sinners - all sins are equal and forgiven by Jesus (god). No compensation or recompense needed. I've lost my patience with the data-free opinion holders. They have taken the leap of faith knowing that God will save them. So goes the COVID-19 story in that community.
