David, Are there any particular companies you are referring to? If so, which product/indication is being worked on and with what likely timeframe for market entrance? This info would be quite important in helping to understand how much of an issue these trials are, as trials are always ongoing for many products and competitive products in all areas. At the same time, being out first, potentially with a headstart of a year or more isn't exactly a bad thing, and comparisons yet will need to be made. Last I heard ATIS hasn't exactly stopped any of their research yet either. What counts is yet to be seen. There are many other factors which could be discussed, but getting specifics as to what you're referring to would add to any discussion immensely. Now all we need are further cures for the flu.
