An excellent piece. SO in the absence of court action before 1-6-21----will the Electoral Count Act (3 U.S.C. § 15) OR the Twelfth Amendment, as amended, be applied? The answer to that question tells you who the next POTUS will be. Seems to me the conflict between the two should have been resolved eons ago.

*If enough Senators challenge the election results, Trump wins.* .........I doubt this is the actual scenario.....but if THIS SCENARIO holds, the Republicans have it within their own means to re-elect Trump................so why would they not let this play out.....namely hold serve in the Senate by having 51 challenge the electors and then see what happens next........but THEY WON'T...........I don't doubt that in the faint chance of needing just one more challenge....Mitch McConnell would point thumbs down......he is just that diabolical
