They wouldn't ramp until they had significant orders. Last I heard,
Iomega has no OEM customers even committed to use Click! yet.
I think it's a neat product, but much has to happen before it
contributes significantly to the bottom line. I'd expect it to
take 6 months to ramp up to significant volume. Remember how
last year they had back orders on ZIP? That shows how difficult
it can be to ramp production. Nor is this a problem unique to
Iomega. Who hasn't heard of IBM and Apple at various times losing
laptop sales because they couldn't make them fast enough?
