I have been following this company and industry for awhile - ever since G. Gilder brought it to my attention. He had posted GA companies as stocks to buy couple of years ago and then about 9 months to 1 year ago pulled them due to the coming of SiGe. The comments in the press release and in the conf call:

exchange2000.com

suggest he was right. Even with a drop of 60% in 1 day which would usually peak my interest, I would not buy and if I owned, would sell on a bounce if it happens tomorrow or Tues.. The CEO comments are serious indeed.

From a value perspective, Book is about $9 share, cash about $3. Next 2 quarters will eat into book and cash. Is this company worth 1X book now considering its business is disappearing to competitors and has a short life left? - Don't think so. For the investors of ANAD, I hope I'm wrong.

Not long or short the stock.

Rich,

The best play right now is a bit foggy to me. IBM certainly has a lead in some ways, but Harris and maybe NSC may be "purer breads." Things are going to have sort out a little, and I'm going to have to think about a little bit before I can give you a more definitive answer. The only answer I am somewhat comfortable with is that come 2005 GaAs may be old news.

Just one man's spin....SemiBull
