I understand this - in a way, I suspect MetaStock does as well in that their boxes are larger for higher priced stocks and smaller for lower priced stocks - the only difference is their program doesn't create different size boxes as you go across price ranges. For example, the box size will be the same as the price goes up from 4 to 6 or 19 to 21. In essence, they get rid of the discontinuity inherent in the traditionally accepted convention. I'll be curious what Tom Dorsey has to say here. Thanks for your answer and willingness to pass along info to Mr. Dorsey.
