Good grief. Biggs gave the ticker symbol for his competitor's fund (APB). I agree with you, he must have meant APF. But APF is not at a 20% discount like he said, only 5%. Hmm, Biggs was obviously not very familiar with his recommendations. As a global strategist in charge of $150 billion, it's hard to remember all the details.

The NAV increase for TTF is in terms of the local shares. If NAV was computed using foreign prices I wonder if the YTD return would be much greater. My hypothesis (untested) is that foreign prices did much better in Jan than local prices as East Asian markets rallied. If I had known of this foreign/local distinction earlier I might have reduced my short position before the recent rally. :{
