Well the Dow and all indexes exploded on todays open, and volume was especially heavy as stocks rallied over 135 points in the first 1/2 hour of trading....Naz up 25....AMZN however has almost no volume (12,000 shares and is up just a fraction on that)...looks like it is top heavy with many offers waiting for some fresh buyers to take 'em ......thats got to be some new insider stock trying to sell into strength again, but so far today noone is biting....AMZN dead in the water..........;^)

Hi everybody, I was in Barnes and Noble over the weekend and bought 12 books, all the large coffee table type....beautiful books, retail priced 75-125$ each, most I got for 15 dollars(15$!!!!) as BKS was blowing out their Christmas inventory.......What a deal! I wonder how much Christmas inventory AMZN has to blow out this quarter?

If Amazon can roll out their music section in less than 3-6 months
with the same breadth of selection and moderate discounts as their
bookshelves enjoy, the shorts are going to be feeling like ice
cubes dropped onto a hot skillet. Talk about one-stop shopping
experience!

I was thinking of shorting Amazon in 60s but what with all strength
and no sign of decline ? Reading this thread is like reading
a comic strip - "just wait till you hear this, buster ? - oh yeah ?
- yeah!" So far the shorts are eating their own...

Alex.
