Reagan had everything to do with bringing down the wall.
The wall would have come down much later had Carter won in 1980, Mondale won in 1984, or Dukakis won in 1988.

Ah, Reagan thought the US had to catch up with the Soviet Union. He had no idea they were collapsing but Nixon started detente so the US could feed the Soviet Union. Carter stopped it. Reagan restarted it.
In what universe do you supply cheap food to your enemy if you're trying to destroy it. Republicans don't use logic. They use silly myths that don't make sense.
