Glenn,

Wow! long message. I don't have the time to read in detial right now. I'm due out on the slopes this morning. I'll read on Monday.

Even so, as I said many times before technology is a great thing, but you need to market it to win. I should also point out that most router companies...yes including Cisco have similar capabilities.

Great article, Glenn. The mysteries of router function is an area of real interest to me, and this helps.
Thanks, and a couple questions:
--Is ASND's invention vis. eliminating the look-up bottleneck still proprietary?
--Do you have an idea how other manufacturers have attacked this central problem?
--Does the inclusion of full lookup table data and parallel processing in each card have a down side --perhaps in cost?
--Sounds like a great application for ASICs. Any idea who makes them?
