Zeev, Why do the Africans fight? For freedom- freedom to live as you see fit as an individual, not subject to the official Arab state religion, or official Arab "way of life"- freedom to see that your children are not sold into slavery into Saudi Arabia or Mauretania; freedom not to be tortured or murdered in a "ghost house" in Khartoum, or to see your wife and daughters gang raped by GOS Soldiers on a "Mission from God".

There is so much oil in the Middle East, that oil in the Sudan is meaningless; colonial powers? The African Sudanese only wish that the English would take an interest in what's happening in their former colony and intervene and shove the military junta under Omar Bashir and Hassan Al-Turabi that toppled the legitimate government and took power in 1989 back off of its own citizens.....

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Zeev:

I invite you to drop in on the CTYS thread, which has livened up in the last few days. I'd be particularly interested in your thoughts on the situation explained in this post:

Message 3314059

I remain hopeful that CTYS management can rescue the company. The mortgage origination business is booming, so the opportunity is there. But there is only silence from management.
