I am not an expert on gold, silver, or Bitcoin. As a lay person Bitcoin looks to me like an asset that has a potential tail risk of zero but great short term speculative appeal. Gold, I suspect, will continue to be an inflation proof store of value over the long term, despite technical swings in both directions in the interim. Silver, I believe, may benefit from its potential uses in an economy undergoing dramatic energy transitions away from fossil fuels in addition to its traditional role as a second tier precious metal.

On the other hand, it is hard to top Bitcoin for pure entertainment value...
