I refer to my previous post that the Brocade switch clearly works, has been tested by independent experts in fibre channel at CERN, and the results are posted on the web. The test was unique in that it was done by FC experts who knew about the I/O bottlenecks that might affect switch performance and tested the throughput in point-to-point configurations between the adapters and then with the switch in place. This is really an excellent test, not only for switches but also competing adapters.

Furthermore, after the testing was over-CERN bought the switch.

I am prepared to say on this basis that the Silkworm works. I think we are still assuming about the MKII, until there is similar independent verification or it starts selling.
