That's a very excellent question... all the historic data shows that the 10 year note moving above 2.60% is the breaking point for these markets...

It can rise beyond that point but rise mostly on momentum, so it can go even higher after the 10 year note moves above 2.60%, but that's the breaking point to give you a very simple and direct answer to a very excellent question...

I'm always watching the 10 year note...

Of course, right now it's well below that level, so these markets can move significantly higher and I believe they will, probably SP well above 4200 before this new year is out... maybe much higher, but at least 4200 and heck, at the current pace we could see SP above 4200 quickly, especially in this market environment...

I really feel sorry for those who keep calling the top and holding long term short positions, there's no top anywhere other than temporary highs after a good run... the upward momentum for these markets right now is truly stunning and rare...
