There is no reason for Compaq to weaken his position by killing the technically superior technology and unleash Intel in the server market. IMHO. <this could delay the K7's design team.> How the fact that the supporting chip does exist and works can delay K7? The chipset can be completely licensed and fabricated independently. IMO again.
