Hi AJ,

I buy into the idea that by the wednesday before expiration the market makers have their books balanced .

The week of expiration they inject greater volatility but work a range. That fits very well with your box analysis.

Lot's of ups and downs but with,in a wider range.

Clx studies say it is supportive into expiration (modestly up).

So if you are a newbee stock buyer and and you were stretching to buy a stock and bought a call, and it got assigned to you, you're shaking worse than a pup passing a peach pit.

So in that scenario, I'd expect a shaking of the tree after the expiration or the third week on the month.

I'm watching and will get my cash raising done by next Friday.

That's my normal view if clx is supportive.

After all market makers need to buy inventory at a discount before they assign the shares into the option markets - for a monthly paycheck - its a monthly thang.
