I would agree that you would be asking for punishment. I have continued to track APM and WDC closely, and personally am not optimistic in the near term. Tech advances at IBM and impending competition from Japan worry me for the whole sector, and I have even greater concerns for APM's ability to remain viable. JMHO

I am out of DD's completely, although I bought some ADPT at about 41. Not really a DD stock, but seems to follow the fortunes of the sector. I'll continue to hold this one though, as their broader product applications seem promising.

BTW-lots of local press on the SK/Glaxo deal as both firms have major facilities in this area. Glaxo's World headquarters are at RTP in Raleigh There are concerns that layoffs will be felt in the local economy, although with an unemployment rate of 1.8 and a severe shortage of tech workers here, I can't imagine it could have much impact.
