do not forget that the market will typically look forward 1-2 quarters. It will anticipate just as you do.

Jim-
If my memory serves me correctly there were a lot of us bulls floating around last Sept. I remember someone sneering at the idea that SGI would ever go back and fill the 19-23 gap. I also remember that there was one guy who tried to warn us-said that he had a cousin who worked for some tech company and that they had told him that SGI was in big trouble. All this just before the bad earnings report. But heck we didn't listen, after all good ole Ed had told us that everything was on track. I was out with one nice profit and got back in on account of Ed's remarks. My only excuse, G-R-E-E=D. Now my hope is to break even.

Happy Hunting

dd

Jim. << talking about SGI Utopia and you >>

Sorry Jim, you don't get the honors. He's since disappeared from
the threads, but if you like, I'll email whom I'm thinking of. You
know him. Don't get me wrong, I don't fault him, even like the guy,
just expressing my early investment weakness. I'm sure I have all
new ones now. After all, I still hold SGI. :-)

JD,

For the record, I have thought you were long on the stock, but not the source of the slightly frenzied predictions which have occasionally appeared on the thread.

Furthermore, it was Ed who had announced that everything was on track prior to the announcement of a losing quarter, which had us all expecting at least a mild profit. And he knew better.

No discouragement intended. Please continue posting your opinion freely (not that you need permission, anyway.)

Regards,

Marc
