I bet you're right. I grew up amidst the turmoil of Northern Ireland - it takes a lot for me to get rattled. I think Americans really don't understand how much influence "America" has throughout western society. Sure, there's always the ugly American jokes etc. but the American "idea" and the democratic principles that it stands for have always been perceived as impenetrable. 1/6 showed just how shaky it's become. There needs to be a stern response and people need to be held accountable for that faith to be healed.....
