In 2000, Greenspan raising rates .50 absolutely killed the markets. I've always thought it was his way of saying...see, you didn't heed my warning about irrational exuberance and I'll show you! It was totally unnecessary at the time and came at the worst possible moment when it was clear the phone/internet mania was imploding. Oh well. Just looked at the semi charts again and many look like they could use a back fill move. Equips have shown amazing strength but the run looks long in the tooth. Maybe a pause is due until TSM reports late next week (I think)?!? Nah, buy the dip. <g>
