To All

I have used Web Street's Level II for 2 months now. I have been very dissatisfied with it for various reasons, it would hang up my computer to the point of having to shut everything down and have to re-boot. I talked with their tech support people (person?) and could never get any help other than "shut down and re-boot your computer, there's nothing wrong at our end". The other day I was watching a stock and on the LII screen it was showing the bid at 22 1/4 and the ask at 22 3/8. On my datek and lombard screens it was showing bid 22 ask 22 1/8. I then did a simple request quote on Web Street's page and it showed bid 22 and ask 22 1/8 while the LII screen still showed 22 1/4 and 22 3/8. This discrepancy showed up IN THE SAME BROWSER WINDOW. So I now know that it's not my computer. I had suspected the problem was theirs but that confirmation was enough to make me go out and get "real" LII information. I've signed up with AT financial for their 2 week trial period, see "data vendors" at Elite Traders site elitetrader.com for the best deal. I was able to use the AT financial advanced charting information to go back and review time and sales on a trade I did Tue and it appears that Web Streets LII information was delayed by about 1 1/2 minutes based on where I thought the bid and ask and sales were at the time of my trade. It is my opinion that the Web Street LII is a mistake for a serious Daytrader.
