A question...someone mentioned that Ameritrade gave them an occassional price improvement. Unless I am mistake, I believe Ameritrade sells their order flow exclusively....thus, the question is, under what circumstances would you get a price improvement...if they are giving you a 1/16, they are making a.....

Mike & ALL: There are many cheap discount brokers that are great for position traders who use limit orders. If you frequently use market orders you should be looking for a discount broker which gives you prices improvements. If you are a SERIOUS Day Trader you should consider the later or one of the remote brokers mentioned here:

Interesting because the pages load fast and the executions are also for me..... and the price is right too.....

I think what you have to do is bookmark all of the trading web servers and if one doesn't answer immediately go to another which will, I rarely have to switch but on a high traffic day, this method works flawlessly for me.
