Elder Force Index- has anyone had any experience with it...

The Elder FORCE Index
---------------------
The Force Index is an oscillator developed by Dr. Alexander
Elder and its derivation is described on Pg. 227 of his very
well known book entitled "Trading for a Living".

(Todays_price - Yesterdays_price)
Force Index = Todays_volume x ---------------------------------
Yesterdays_price

As suggested by Dr. Elder, the index is smoothed by a thirteen
day exponential moving average. The Bulls are in control when
the index is positive. When the index rallies to a new high it
indicates that the uptrend is likely to continue. I decided to
use percentage change in price rather than absolute change in
price. It makes almost no difference to the shape and appearance
of the curve but the values fall into a much more reasonable
range for presentation.
