I'm living in the USA and 99.9% of Americans have warm views about Canada. We're their closest ally. This guy contributes to a lot of American threads, but is probably a Canadian, living in Canada, who has extreme right wing views. He admires Trump and has visceral hatred towards anything "liberal". I think he's a self-loathing American wannabe and is frustrated that he couldn't get a visa to live/work there. I'll just ignore that thread as another trashy place.
