"After all, Maxine Waters, who called for police protection during the storming of the Capitol, should have been sent a team of social workers and crisis counselors"

Trump is the one who needs that kind of help. Maybe he'll get it in jail.

In any case, more often than not I tend to favor rank-n-file police officers, who have to do some of the toughest jobs in our nation.
Right, it is the cases that you do not favor, where cops kill people of color as a matter of principle that came right out of slavery, lynching, tar and feather, trolling for Aligator, some still around that build them selves up by looking down on others.

Defunding the Cops is not murdering the Cops. It was/is a mantra that says, "time to get your house in order", to the cops. That is all.

There are mostly good cops, but they seem to overlook serious flaws in the character of a few fellows behind the blue line.

The threat, "defund the cops", is saying; Either defend the Constitution or get out. Do one or the other or we will make the decision for you. Probably toothless threat, twt
