ANYONE: I am thinking of quiting my boring hourly-wage job and spending a few hours a day day trading to make the same income. I'm 39 years old and have $500K in an IRA doing it's own thing as a nest egg. I'd like to take my "spare" $80K and daytrade in an attempt to pump $80K of income my way. I think it is do-able as I have done 350% on 10K since October.. Can I avoid paying ALL social security taxes if I have no real job and just trade stocks ? I don't expect to ever the see the $100K that I have already had "withheld" from me for Social Security to date, so I am in no mood to keep contributing (Clinton term) to the Welfare state.

Comments ? ...and thanks
