The Republican party has been fractured, irreparably imo. You've witnessed it with what you've seen but in the video its perfectly explained. Mini-don coup pone states says it clearly. There are Republicans and ReTrumplicans The ReTrumplkcans have achieved a cult status and they're bat-shit nutty. One needn't look any father than right here on SI to see what I'm talking about. BEHOLD! I dont think you will see a republican in the Whitehouse for the next 20 years or more. Don't get me wrong, BOTH parties are fractured as both have extremists - just the dems less so. The current climate could make it possible for a third party of centrist to actually take hold, but until then I expect the BLUE WAVE will just get bluer.
