Wow, Lee, sorry about your car being totaled. That's awful. I've had 3-kids that have 3-totaled cars in 3-years, so I've been there.

It's kind of lousy having put money into a car and just have it crushed like that. If your replacement car has the same size tires, maybe you can buy them back for dimes on the dollar from the salvage yard.

North Korea has been crippled by the border closures with China this year due to Covid-19. They're in no position to strike anything except knock over some 7-11's on the South Korea border to feed their border troops, IMO.

Unlike many, I am not concerned with Iran. In the last 200 years, Iran has not invaded another country. Have they hassled another country? Sure, a lot. They are not expansionist. They just want to keep the mafia-like fiefdom going, just like North Korea. To do that, they sabre rattle the great satans, Israel and the US, and gobble up large business by nationalizing them for the mullahs. Win-win. They also extort when they can. It's maybe their alternative to conventional forms of government.

It works for the Kims and the Mullahs. It doesn't work for many of their citizens.

I think TNX 12.66 may be the inflection point for the equity and bond market the way bonds have been moving.

James Carville had it right: “I used to think that if there was reincarnation, I wanted to come back as the president or the pope or as a .400 baseball hitter. But now I would like to come back as the bond market. You can intimidate everybody.”
