I do wonder whether any of these corporate defenders of Twitter realize that Twitter literally got its initial claim to fame by providing a voice, during the Iranian Uprising, for the Iranian people who were being violently attached in the streets of Tehran by its own government?

If you’re not going to allow tweets on violence at all that’s one thing. But if you’re going to ban what “Jack” thinks is violence, he is going to get it wrong sometimes and lives and livelihoods are at stake.

We don’t yet have ANY idea who committed what violence other than a young woman being shot to death under highly questionable circumstances.
