All: Best broker for shorting?

I'm thinking about switching from e.Schwab, which charged me a $60 commission on a 2,000 share short sale -- when they finally came up with some shares to short.

Karl, it is my opinion that KO and GE will correct with the market as it corrects (soon in my view). But they will only move in tune with the market. There are other much better shorts discussed on this thread which will likely go down even if the market continues up.

What do you short-siders think of shorting KO and GE?

Covering the substantial dividend payment takes away the attractiveness of these shorts unless you think some interesting drop may happen in between ex-dividend dates. Options is a possibility. IMO these are dangerous shorts. I was long KO until early December.
