Let me play devils advocate on this topic. Chief is one of the most popular topics on this forum because some of you choose to keep him relevant. And he plays this notoriety like a fiddle. He continues to profit from Zen as a shorter. Obviously a big part of that is interpreting Level II bids and asks, but another component is him knowing that we read his posts - he smears Zen at the most fervent pace when we have successive days of pull-back because these are the days he shorts the stock and wants to ensure that nervous investors don't buy more and quite possibly might even part with some shares. On our move from .30 to the mid $3 range we barely heard peep from him (like a post a month Why? Because he wasn't shorting and his only reason for posting relentlessly about doing so now is pure manipulation). My feeling is that discussion of Chief should be taken to another forum, and many posters have privately told me they want this. I'm a little reluctant to push that too far because those who dislike him the most, I tend to respect and get along with. I'd prefer this topic bring us together than divide us - but I made a suggestion last week and didn't have a lot of success with it. Thoughts? Let's have this discussion and either be done with it for good, or agree that it has a place here. I'll support consensus.
