I was standing at my broker looking at T&S list friday morning. There are no big block trades as you mentioned. The sum of the trades is what you may have seen on the intraday chart.

Re: "Smart" Money

You said:
...but smart money allready are in.
why dont you think they upgrade SEG on friday? The Street wants to
keep SEG price up til up cycle come. Wall Street is shrud people.
YOU GOT TO THINK HOW BIG MONEY THINKS.

I presume you mean "shrewd" not "shrud".

My equities investment participation is predicated on the principle that I, Pierre, am in a position to know more about what is going on in certain businesses and companies than "Wall Street". Otherwise why would I even bother to invest in individual issues instead of parking my money in a fund and let the "smart money" take care of me?

The fact of the matter is, many analysts are dimwitted morons who barely passed economics in community college. The fact of the matter is, there are posters to this public discussion thread that have forgotten more about the disk drive industry than most Streeters can ever hope to comprehend.

You say I don't understand the wall street mentality. That may be true, though I worked in a related capacity for several years as a derivative analytics developer. I have to say I wasn't all that impressed with the acumen of the typical trader/street-type. To these guys a month is a long-term investment.

Enough ranting <g>. Every moment not spent researching is a moment wasted.
