Anybody-
most of the techs have gotten smashed since this Asian situation started during Sep-Oct.
Mircon was in the mid 40's and went under 21, same goes for Ascend. Netscape and oracle have lost more than half their value as well, and the list goes on.

Quantum is one of my favorite tech companies, and I wanted to get in at the 19-20 range. But I couldn't free-up enough cash from my totally braindead pick of Parker drilling a couple of months ago without losing my rear-end. Now I'm out with a little of my self respect back. But I have a question for anybody who is willing to lend me some advice on Quantum, since I haven't been watching as close as I should.

Will Quantum retest the Lows? Or was Thursday the retest when It was up big and finished down near 21??

Ascend and Mircon both got to 24 from 21, and everybody thought the worst was over, only to tank back to under 21. Now both have regrouped. Micron 33-35, Ascend 28-30.

What's the prediction for QNTM?

Personally, I think that it will drop to about 22.5, but reach 32 by Halloween to Thanksgiving.

Anyway Congrats for the "QUANTUM-LEAP" on Friday.

To all, anyone have an idea for the recent run-up in price? I haven't read the thousands of posts. Just looking for a brief run down.

MoneyMAn -

<<PS: DD prices have stabalized>>
I don't know where you've been watching, but everywhere I look prices keep falling big time. Lot's of SEG stuff discounted last week from my notes.

There are millions of drives still in inventories out there. Prices are gonna keep falling until those are cleared out. As long as those DDs exist nobody is gonna make any money man.
