Tommy, after having read Jacksman's post to you, I feel badly as it made me aware of what a Jackass I can be for having ever gotten sucked into a pissing match with any of you. Jacksman is right, continuing to taunt you is wrong for the sake of all the others invested in this stock, therefore I will discontinue my barbs. In good faith I will also answer the question that you posed. The possible failure of Franklin is always a concern as it should be when investing into any small unproven company. Yes, I'll even go so far as to say that even recently I have been disappointed in the fact that they had to "backburner" other promising projects to concentrate on the Tempest. I will however take the liberty to emphasize for the sake of clarification that these projects were mothballed not because of failure but rather out of priority towards what promises to be a very lucrative and viable product/service. That is not to say that this decision doesn't come with its own apparent risks, after all placing so much faith in an unproven experiment goes without mention. I refer to it as an experiment, why because even the Internet is an experiment as we know it, constantly evolving and always on the edge, pushing the treseholds of infrastructure bandwidth constraints. It is also that same evolution that places such high risk on any high-tech company, you should know that personally, Adaptec was even subject to the volatile world of high-tech investing, and it has a total and diverse line of products. Because of this fast changing pace, Frank had to make some executive decisions, for which I give him credit, it was a very gutsy decision. We don't know if it was the right decision, not me, not you, not even Frank. But you can be assured that he, his staff and the board of directors weighed their options based on their knowledge of the industry and on both the financial and human resources and placed the focus of FTEL's future on the potential that the Tempest holds. I as a knowledgeable shareholder hold the same aspirations and share the same enthusiasm for the prospects that the Tempest promises. I stand firmly commited behind Frank and his staff and demonstrate that each day that I leave my money invested. If it fails, yes you, Jean, and Valuespec will proven right and I will not only be proven wrong but I will also stand to lose a considerable amount of money. That brings me up to the closing statement. The real difference is that I and many others have our skin invested in it, you don't. We as whole have invested after having done a considerable amount of research. I also have almost a decade of experience of investing sucessfully in the communications sector. I don't know what your experience nor your record of achievements are, but I do know that you have no right to continue to berate Franklin nor any member on this board, especially since you have no vested interest. Therefore I request that you and the others kindly reframe from this constant antagonistic behaviour. I believe that if you took a vote today, you would find that an overwhelming majority of those that frequent this thread do not find your opinions, nor Jeans, nor Valuespecs welcome. If you continue to find it necessary to convey your concerns I encourage you to air those concerns on the other thread that was created for just that reason. As a gentleman, I ask you to act accordingly. Raleigh
