... could well be that 'accepted to date 5th Jan' normalised behaviour has something to do with what happened on the 6th, however the apparent acceptance of the normalised behaviour has an underlying / under-layer of reasons that are likely not due to actions / reactions of any given short time period but were built-up over a long time.

If so, then until there is a sincere open dialogue, the 'reckoning' might be the only interim expression.

How such a 'reckoning' would play is anyone's guess. How the reckon relates to 2026 / 2032 do not know if even related, but suspect timing might not be random / coincidental.

IOW there are reasons for the cycles of history, and Asimov was correct in his Foundation series en.wikipedia.org
