Have lurked this thread for months (since WSP at .70). Unfortunately never made a move.

General question. With no position to average down from, or fall back to, is now a good time to make an initial foray?

Is it more prudent to allow the winter drill season to proceed, and wait for some intial results and therefore momentuum (be it good or bad)?

Barry,

You're not quite correct on Bishop. He initially thought that Bre-X could not be a hoax, preferring instead to hope that it was just a mistake that would be corrected once Strathcona Minerals completed their work. Kaiser called it correctly, Bishop had to do some backpeddling, and Kaiser was quoted in every newspaper for the next nine months. Cal
