Samkar, I like your sentiments relative to new rising starts of politician in India, those that have not been corrupted yet. Unfortunately, it is the "power" they will attain that corrupts. Prophets were lamenting corruption in the old biblical days, and they will continue as long as humanity needs a "power" structure to maintain organized society. Let's hope that these corruptions are just "reigned" in. By the way, the corruptive powers of "power" are not unique to east or the west, these come with the territory. Zeev

"Indian political system is very stable". Now that is an overstatement if I ever heard one by BOJ officials or for anyone else for that matter.You don't agree? Indian bureaucracy consists of some of the best brains in the world and is highly competent to understand what is achievable and the sophistry of modern finance. This may be so,but India still holds the dubious distinction of having the:- a) Largest bureaucracy on the face of earth b) Arguably the most inefficient c) One of the most corrupt d) Probably the most arrogant (almost forgot that one) Everything else BOJ says,I have no problem with. Sorry Sankar, had to say it.
