Dirk,

Have been following your multi-monitor travails with interest. I am also very interested in your 12 window setup utility. I assume a product or products provide tools? Or are you rolling this from scratch using C++ or something? My own post-boot setup is becoming tedious also, although only 2-monitors/2-cpus. Any pointers, especially to the tools, appreciated!

More multi-monitor: since an AGP-multi-monitors-1-card option is not yet offered, (correct me if I missed it) does an AGP motherboard NOT make sense? I.e., if you end up picking the STB PCI 4-monitor card, your AGP slot would be wasted ... so why pay for it?

Zeuspaul, great thread! You are pulling together an wonderful array of sources!

Street Walker, I think you mentioned Tradestation - are you thinking the two tasks (server, charting) justify the dual CPU motherboard? By the way, I transitioned from Signal-cable to BMI Satellite and believe I picked up 10-15 seconds improvement, but some could have been on thinly traded issues that Signal "compressed."

Cheers!

Hello Dirk,

Regarding the Win 98 support for multiple monitors, will it be possible to sometimes have a window span 2 monitors it you so desire. If so, how hard is it to switch this back to not splitting a window between 2 monitors.
Thank you for your help.
