Mr. Butcher,

Thank you so much for your concern as to our financial well being on these threads. Gosh, the feeling I am getting from your posts is that we are all losing tons of money by reading these threads. What fools we must be, to lose money and come back again to read more and lose more. I guess I am one of those stupid lambs who have been led to the slaughter. But can you tell me this, why have I learned so much here? Most of what the swatters have posted are extremely informative. I have compiled a slew of urls to do my own research. And the last time I looked at most of these posts, there is usually a disclaimer to do your own DD.

A child has to learn from their own mistakes. You can only offer so much advise, and then they are on their own. I think you have come to the end of your pitch, we now know how you feel, so it is time to let us "sheep" make our own decisions. I can't imagine that anyone would take what they read and act on it without checking it out thoroughly. And what about the postings where they have stopped people from making mistakes. I don't see you commending them on that aspect.

Stock picks are for general dissemination. How we decide to use them is up to us. Please be assured your concept has now been established. You can go on from here to your other financial dealings. We have been told and warned. Should we decide to stay and pick these threads for research and ideas, we are on our own.
You are becoming redundant. I, for one, will read these postings with great veracity to learn all that I can on any aspect of stock selection. These people certainly have a life, and their willingness to share their time and efforts with us is commendable.

So, thank you for your warnings, we can now get on with the concept these threads were suppose to be for. Stock talk, not redundant postings.

Dear Greg,

I've sent the Web Mistress E-mail regarding the nature of your recent posts. I respect the point you've made and continue to make. But I do not respect their harrassing nature. At this point I hope you feel that you've communicated your message and do not need to repeat it.

Please read this. You'll find it in the intro to this thread:

Stocks with a score of 50 or more have a tendency to just go off. Some do 15% in a week, some double in a month. A few will go nowhere.

It was written by Doug R. What does it mean ? I think it means that the TA system that Doug is trying to perfect sometimes picks dogs that should not always be thought of as long term investments. I think it means that sometimes his TA finds "false positives". But most of the time it find stocks that are about to make a significant (but sometimes short-lived) upside move.

Please understand that I'm not trying to hurt anyone. So please don't take this post personnally. I just want you to feel that we all understand what you've been saying and that you shouldn't feel the need to say it anymore.

Regards,
Chris
