loki, of course you are old enough to know that cpq could have folded any year...vince was just a kid, he thinks cpq went straight up and it never was a risk. why would they keep handing out huge amts of stk options to key employees for yrs if compaq had it made... you understand this and he doesn't cpq crashed 31 times since I've owned it. like a 15 to 3 and 21 to 8 and 33 to 20 and 75 to 34 and 75 to 38 and 112 to 48 and 75 to 22 to name a few hair raising...like you said..it didn't feel like luck. it felt like the hairiest roller coaster ride of the century and some of the crashes it made you pass out... but, vince has no concept..hate to knock youth, but sometimes they need to get a person to person acconunt instead of just reading a book. I wouldn't begin to tell my dad what the battle of the bulge was like from what I read in a history book...he was there and I've just seen the movie<gg>
