No, but this is impeachment trial, not a criminal trial, and there is precedent of such trial proceeding after administration change.

If Schumer wants a trial there will be a trial unless it is stopped by the courts.

I have long learned that the law as written is absolutely meaningless until it has been tested in court - its only meaning is what the judge of the day says it means.
