A large amount of short interest, say 10 days to cover, is always considered bullish. This is because the shorts will eventually have to cover. Perhaps that's what happened the other day when AMLN broke way below 4 and came back to it's open price at the close. Hopefully, they were short from a much higher number and would not consider shorting again from 5 or 6.

How do you interpret the drop in short interest and the recent action? Dead cat bounce?
