Mike,

Times the $3.05 price and you get revenue
of $301 million. Last quarter costs were $415 million so lets assume $420
million this quarter (no davidG costs don't go down ... costs per unit do as long
as MU can keep cranking out more chips). A loss of $119 million or .56 per
share

I guess if you are going to be a SMART A$$ than you don't mind me pointing out your ongoing ignorance in calculating MUs eps. The $3.05 pointed out in that article very clearly refers to DRAM...and it distinguishes between DRAM and SDRAM. If you would follow the posts, than you would realize that MU is now 70 to 80% SDRAM, which has averaged around $4.00 to $4.25 in 2Q98. So it looks like you are inappropiately downplaying MUs revenue by close to $100 million, which is close $.45 per share.

As far as ignoring MUEI...well that is another silly assumption.

...and now you know why I always question your numerical analysis...b/c I believe you deliberately Put a negative spin on these numbers, but you are only fooling yourself.

DavidG

PS: If you are buying PUTs to hold till expiration based on your numbers and analysis you will only lose more money.
